Our story

Chillibyte, based in Horsham, West Sussex, just around the corner from London Gatwick Airport, has grown from a start-up into one of the most highly experienced search marketing agencies in the UK.

Founded in 2013 by Sam Trousdale and Tim Watney, Chillibyte has evolved into a multi-department agency, delivering a comprehensive suite of search marketing services for ambitious brands.

We like to do things a little differently at Chillibyte. Rather than be a jack of all trades and master of none, we specialise in SEO as a core discipline, incorporating Content, PPC services, and Web Development as part of a client’s ongoing campaign with us.

As a small local business, we love the fact we get London service at local rate – and a great friendly team we can meet with to discuss new ideas and strategies.

From our idyllic HQ in rural West Sussex, a favourite retreat with clients, we work with companies of all sizes. We have helped over 200 companies improve their search visibility, developing local business with a handful of employees through to global enterprises. In October 2022, we were proud to be the 4th agency to join the Broadlight Group. Being part of Broadlight allows us to keep doing what we do best, but with a wider network of like-minded colleagues. Broadlight is a team of 60+ marketing specialists and support staff. Bigger is better! Broadlight was recently shortlisted by the UK Company Culture Awards as Best Agency to Work For.
